IN WITH THE NEW

Hey there and welcome back to my colourful corner of the Internet, it has been almost a year since I last blogged and what a year it has been… So what am I here to share with you?

WHAT

Well, you may have seen my new branding on social media, but you may not have… either way, I wanted to give a bit more of an insight into why and how I got here, rather than a pretty picture with a shiny new logo on it... as always… there’s more, so…

WHY

My work has evolved over the last few years and has naturally progressed to the point where I am launching a homewares collection of rugs cushions and wall hangings at the end of January this year (lockdown dependent) (head to social media if you have no idea what I am talking about… or sign up to my newsletter here to stay up to date).

HOW

As a part of this evolution and with amazing help and guidance from the UNTLD PROJECT it felt right to tweak my brand to reflect my new work and direction… But that doesn’t just mean a shiny new logo… although there is one!

So why not share it! This is Hannah Heys Textiles, a natural evolution, going hand in hand with the development of my rugs, cushions and wall hangings.

I wanted to create a brand that was bold bright and colourful but also represented the quality, craftsmanship and luxurious nature of the pieces that I am creating! The brand colours have been carefully chosen to represent my brand pillars:

INNOVATIVE

CREATIVE

ETHICAL

EXCELLENCE

The main logo device itself is a very minimalist representation of a tufting frame.

There are lots of little additional details that will be shared as we get closer and closer to the launch, but for now, I wanted to share some of the gorgeous care labels and fixings that will be used when packaging your orders (scroll to the bottom for the picture). 

Thought, care and attention to detail has been woven in to every step of the process, from design through to creation and even packaging (and I have loved every minute of it). But it’s not just how it looks, sustainability has been a big part of development too, there will be a full blog on that too soon as well as a page dedicated to sustainability on my new shiny website that is being built RIGHT NOW (can you tell I am excited for this! In short, every piece and every detail has been created with the mantra:

HIGH QUALITY, HIGH END, HANDMADE

at the forefront of my mind.
